Bean to Bar chocolate workshop & Pisco sour making class

After lunch, you'll take part in the "Bean to Bar" Chocolate workshop - two-hour group workshop where you will learn the origin of chocolate and its history; even preparing drinks like the Maya and Conquistadores used to, and explore the chocolate making process, starting from the cacao tree in the jungle, before making your own Chocolates with 15+ flavours. 

To finish the day, you will attend the famous Pisco Sour masterclass at the Museo del Pisco. This is considered to be Peru's national drink and a "must try" for anyone visiting. 

Non-alcoholic options are also available.

Palccoyo Rainbow Mountain

Today you'll head to the must-see area of Palccoyo, 5000m high - home to one of the world's only rainbow mountains. These mountains have 7 different colours naturally occurring from the various minerals in the ground - absolutely mind-blowing! 

Round-trip transport from your hotel is included, as well as a local guide on the mountains who will show you the most picturesque places through a walking tour. 

On a clear day, you can see the snow-capped peaks of Ausangate, Mariposa, Nevado del Inca and the diversity of this mountainous region. At the highest point of the trail, you can see the Bosque de Rocas (Rock Forest) with its unique formations.

Maras Saltpans & Bus to Ica

Today, we will drive deep into the Sacred Valley, renowned for its spies due to the strategic location. You will take an old mule trail downhill to the amazing saltpans. Thousands of saltpans cover the whole of the hillside creating a stunning white landscape. They have been constantly worked since Inca times and were even mentioned in The Chronicles.

After returning to Cusco we will pack up and take an overnight luxury bus to Huacachina, Ica.

After a well-deserved lie-in, you have a final full day in Huacachina to relax and explore this rare gem of a location!

After lunch, we will hit the dunes again, but this time sandboarding! This activity is perfect for anyone - beginners or experts. 

After, we'll head for an evening meal and party together to celebrate our final night.

Huacachina Free Day and Bus to Lima 

Our final day together! Say goodbye to the group, get those last minute souvenirs or climb atop the dunes for a final glimpse of the desert sun.
