You're in for a proper city adventure, a full marathon of grit, iconic monuments, and the beat of a city pushing you on all the way to the finish line by Arc De Triomphe. This is the Paris Marathon, beautiful sights, raw atmosphere, and 26.2 miles of memories to last a lifetime.

We believe that world-class challenges shouldn't just be for those with deep pockets, and they should support the causes we care about. That's why we've built an industry-leading fundraising model that puts the power back into the hands of the community.

Welcome to the City of Light. First order of business: the race expo to secure your Paris Marathon bib. We'll spend the afternoon wandering Le Marais, ducking into local boulangeries for a proper pain au chocolat (the ultimate pre-race snack). We'll catch sunset by the Seine, looking up at the newly reopened Notre-Dame, before a casual dinner in the Bastille area.

We'll start the day with a light run Paris Marathon shake-out along the banks of the Seine, keeping the legs loose while ticking off landmarks like the Louvre and Musée d'Orsay. The rest of the day is strictly low-impact. Think the jaw-dropping stained glass of Sainte-Chapelle. Dinner is the big one: a massive steak frites or coq au vin carb-loading session to make sure the tank is full for tomorrow.

This is it. The Paris Marathon 2027. You'll line up on the Champs-Élysées beneath the Arc de Triomphe for a start line experience that will give you chills. The course is an iconic tour of the city, from the Place de la Bastille to the finish line in the Bois de Boulogne. After the race, we're heading to Pigalle for a private after-party. Whether you want a cocktail in a stylish hideaway or to hit the Rex Club, we're celebrating in true Parisian style.

The Paris Marathon date might be over, but the city isn't. We'll spend the morning on a very slow recovery walk through the Tuileries Garden or a lazy brunch in Oberkampf. A final coffee and a croissant for the road, then we're heading out, officially members of the 42km club in Paris.
~150m total gain. Mostly flat, but features notable climbs through Bois de Vincennes and Bois de Boulogne.
8–13°C in April. Often cool and overcast, creating ideal racing conditions.
Water and isotonic drinks every 5km. Gels, fruit, and traditional sugar cubes at 15km, 25km, and 30km.
Arc de Triomphe start, Champs-Elysees, Bastille, the Seine, Notre-Dame, Chateau de Vincennes, and Bois de Boulogne.
55,000+ runners and 500,000+ spectators. One of the largest and best-supported races globally.
Truly iconic. DJs, samba bands, and dressed-up spectators line the route. The start is a guaranteed 'pinch me' moment.
Your place in the Paris Marathon is locked in. BIB with chip, runner bag, and a kit bag with an official Paris Marathon technical t-shirt.
Water and gel stations throughout the marathon route, and a finisher medal and diploma waiting at the line to mark the achievement.
Central accommodation in Paris, a stylish hostel in the heart of the city, close to the race route and the landmarks, with a bed and a hot shower waiting after the race.
A Hardest Adventures rep is in-country with you throughout the challenge, backed by a 24/7 UK emergency line active the whole time.
And All Of This
That's the deal. Everything on race weekend is our problem. Before you fly, you've got exactly four jobs:
Get yourself to Paris and back. We take it from there.
A policy that covers you for the trip and the race. Non-negotiable.
Sort a visa if you need one for France. Most UK students won't.
We build your structured training plan. You put in the miles.
Not included in your trip price: flights to and from Paris, travel insurance, visas (if required), transport around Paris (outside marathon day), activities in Paris, meals not specified in the itinerary, and personal spending.
Hardest Safety Net - After booking you have a 2-week window to change your mind and receive a full refund, no questions asked.
Choose Your Payment Plan
Settle the £750 in one payment at booking. No further admin, no follow-up emails.
Secure your place with a 20% deposit of your chosen registration fee (from £50), then pay £50 plus equal monthly instalments until three months before your trip, or clear the remainder by 9th December 2026. And we're treating you right, this is valid for both paid and fundraising plans.
