Ways to Pay

We believe that world-class challenges shouldn't just be for those with deep pockets, and they should support the causes we care about. That's why we've built an industry-leading fundraising model that puts the power back into the hands of the community.

  • 100% of your fundraising goes to the charity. Your charity pays Hardest a balance fee to cover the remaining cost of your place on the challenge.
  • Fundraise for the OddBalls Foundation, £1,000 raised funds life-saving awareness and early detection programmes for testicular cancer.
  • When you book, you have a 2-week Hardest safety net where you can get a full refund on your booking if you need to, no questions asked!

Itinerary

Welcome to the City of Light. First order of business: the race expo to secure your Paris Marathon bib. We'll spend the afternoon wandering Le Marais, ducking into local boulangeries for a proper pain au chocolat (the ultimate pre-race snack). We'll catch sunset by the Seine, looking up at the newly reopened Notre-Dame, before a casual dinner in the Bastille area.

Hardest HighlightStanding on the bank of the Seine with a flaky pain au chocolat and Notre-Dame back on the skyline. A city back in full voice after the fire.
What's Included
  • Paris Marathon race entry & bib collection
  • Guided "Hidden Paris" walk
  • Accommodation: Stylish hostel in the heart of the city
  • Breakfast
Transfer - -

We'll start the day with a light run Paris Marathon shake-out along the banks of the Seine, keeping the legs loose while ticking off landmarks like the Louvre and Musée d'Orsay. The rest of the day is strictly low-impact. Think the jaw-dropping stained glass of Sainte-Chapelle. Dinner is the big one: a massive steak frites or coq au vin carb-loading session to make sure the tank is full for tomorrow.

Hardest HighlightWalking into the upper chapel of Sainte-Chapelle and looking up. Fifteen-metre stained glass windows that have been doing this trick since the 13th century.
What's Included
  • Seine-side shake-out run & sightseeing
  • Accommodation: Stylish hostel in the heart of the city
  • Breakfast & "The Grand Brasserie" carb-load

This is it. The Paris Marathon 2027. You'll line up on the Champs-Élysées beneath the Arc de Triomphe for a start line experience that will give you chills. The course is an iconic tour of the city, from the Place de la Bastille to the finish line in the Bois de Boulogne. After the race, we're heading to Pigalle for a private after-party. Whether you want a cocktail in a stylish hideaway or to hit the Rex Club, we're celebrating in true Parisian style.

Hardest HighlightThe start line. Standing on the Champs-Élysées with 55,000 other runners, the Arc de Triomphe behind you, and the entire avenue stretched out ahead. A "pinch me" moment that makes every mile of training worth it.
What's Included
  • Paris Marathon race day
  • Hardest Adventures VIP after-party in Pigalle
  • Accommodation: Stylish hostel in the heart of the city
  • Breakfast

The Paris Marathon date might be over, but the city isn't. We'll spend the morning on a very slow recovery walk through the Tuileries Garden or a lazy brunch in Oberkampf. A final coffee and a croissant for the road, then we're heading out, officially members of the 42km club in Paris.

Hardest HighlightA slow loop of the Tuileries with sore quads, a coffee, and the medal still around your neck. Paris is built for victory laps.

If you have chosen the charity fundraising option, your fundraising deadline is 8 weeks before your challenge start date. With the support of your charity rep, Hardest Adventures, challenge leaders, and University, it's almost impossible not to reach your target.

In the unlikely event the target isn't met by the deadline, here are your options:

  1. If you're above 80% of your target and have plans in place, your charity can grant you a 2-week deadline extension.
  2. You can put your own money in and fundraise it back afterwards, as long as you don't keep more than you put in.
  3. You can defer to next year's trip for a small fee, giving you an extra year to hit your target.
Our Promise We want you to take on this adventure of a lifetime, and we'll do all we can to help you do so.
